Why Is The Price Of Blurt Difference On CoinmarketCap & Blurt Wallet

I woke up this morning to see my Blurt wallet account growing, the price has increased massively and I'm so happy. I decided to check CoinmarketCap to see and I was surprised to see the price is very different....

What's the issue? Is it a technical problem or something else?

Thank you?

The price on the wallet is average of multiple dex and exchanges whereas coinbase is single exchange data depending on trades happening.

This is very helpful, now I understand

Thank you

CoinmarketCap doesn't track trade on Hive Engine. Someone bought a lot of Blurt on Tribaldex and the price pumped.

CMC tracks Probit, Ionomy and Pankcakeswap I think. Sadly it doesn't track Hive Engine/Tribaldex.

Coinmarketcap only tracks probit.

The API that feeds the price to the Blurt wallet takes an average of prices from Hive-Engine, Ionomy, and CoinGecko. CoinGecko tracks Probit and PancakeSwap. So you’re comparing the average of four different exchanges versus the price of one single exchange.

You can see the code for the price tracker here.
