Have you seen the winners and winnings in this week's edition of Share and Earn Contest?

It's been a long week and I won't be the one to hold you back from having a full blast this weekend. This is going to be a very short update about the contest we all love so much. Read carefully and be informed.

  • About Share and Earn Contest

This is an initiative we plan to run till perpetuity for the sake of spreading the word about Blurt. Everyone is free to participate. Project accounts and Community accounts are also free to join. As far as you have a Blurt account and a Twitter account, you can always be part of this contest and there is no limit to the number of entries you can make per week.

  • Duration of the contest

Previously, we do this contest from Sunday evening to Saturday morning. Now, the plan is to switch things up so the contest duration from now on shall be as follows;

Contest begins on Monday morning and ends on Saturday morning.

You just need to look out for the announcement post for each week of the contest. That marks the beginning of the contest. Whenever we announce winners, it shows that the collation of entries is over until we publish another announcement post for another edition of the contest.

Of course, anyone can always share their stuff on Twitter and anywhere that pleases them. Do it at any time you want, but if you intend to make a submission to this contest, we will only collate entries made during normal contest durations.

We hope you all have these in mind.

  • 5 weeks on, 1 week off

After every 5 editions of the contest, we will take a week off from that aspect of what we are doing on Blurt. We did a sorta testing after the 5th week of this contest and we like the effect of that action on the team. Going forward, this will have to be an important element of share and earn contest.

That being said, the next week of the contest counts as week 10 so, you can already guess what will happen the week after it.

That should be all.

I can only thank you and appreciate you for your effort and the value you are adding to everyone's lives and also Blurt. Deeply appreciated. Well done.

Thanks so much for always being part of this. We are making some adjustments whenever we see the need to do so. The target is to reach out to more people and also to make sure that we are giving our best whenever we turn up to do anything on the blockchain.

When this project grows big, we will be sure to do more. Enjoy the weekend.

I absolutely understand and you are doing such an incredible job so far. It would get better and I am always happy to be a part of what we all love and want to promote. Thank you so much.

Thank you @onchain-curator for coming up with this initiative, but please I have a question. I understand that entry starts counting from Monday morning, but does it mean that if an author submits his work before the contest begins he won't get upvoted?

Nice question. We want to make sure that people are also reading Instead of just posting. So, when we say entry starts from Monday, it means that any post submitted prior to that moment will not be seen as an entry to the contest.

Generally, any post submitted after we've published an announcement post for each week of the contest will be valid as an entry.

By the way, we still curate posts on the blockchain so, even when the contest is on hold, any quality post we come across on the Blockchain will most likely get a vote from us.
