Good day to all my fellow blurtian, hope you all are doing great. Well, I just thought it will be a great idea to share some little knowledge on technical drawing and some of the tools used in technical drawing.
Drawing
Drawing can be defined as a graphical representation of something real or can be said to be a proposed design for construction.
Drawing can also come in a different form, which means you can bring out the form of an object in different types, the graphical method of presentation is also the most basic.
Technical drawing
A technical drawing can be defined as living language that shows the precise and accurate technical description of drawing an object with its actual shape and dimension.
The technical drawing is also very important to help to visually communicate how a building should be built or constructed.
Important of technical drawing
- Fields of Use: In technical drawing, it is the most preferable method of drafting in all engineering fields, because it helps to explain and understand more about the construction that is to be done.
- It helps in conveying information about machine parts as simply as possible.
- Importance of Accuracy: In technical drawing, the most important thing is precise and accuracy because what you draw out will determine how the final output will be, so as an engineer it is important to make sure what you draw for use has to be precise with less error.
We have different types of drawing which are:
- Mechanical Drawing: this type of drawing is made with a drawing instrument, it is mostly used to donate all types of industrial drawing which tends to reduce the scope of the graphic language and for easy execution.
- Descriptive Geometry: It is the three-dimensional geometry, which forms the background for practical application language through which graphical problems could be solved.
- Technical Drawing: This covers all types of drawing, it is also a graphical presentation of the real object, idea, or proposed design for construction used for effective communication.
