Today's topic seed is Your Company Matters
Bible Text: I Samuel 15:1-9
There's a Yoruba adage that says, “ a sheep that keeps the company of dogs will eat faeces”. Show me your friends, and I will tell you who you are” goes a similar English adage.
In verse 6 of the text, if the kenites did not leave the company of the amalekite, despite being in God's books, so to say, they would have suffered the same fate as them!
Your closest friends should not be unbelievers or people who are half-hearted with the things of God.
Instead of praying for an easy way out, pray to continue doing the God's will or work with boldness through accompanying signs. who you turn to when you face challenges will either strengthen you or make you throw in the towel.
So, make friends with forthright people, who plan to fulfill God's purpose and who won't bend standards. Serve God in the company of people who want to make Heaven and who will challenge you to live right.
Your company matters in the journey of life, so that you will go far.
