Seed for today; How come?
Bible Text ; judges 6-11-23.
My emphasis in this article is to ask why or how something happened or what caused it.
In the above bible passage, Gideon was an unlikely choice to be judge in Israel, hiding to thresh wheat in a winepress! When the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, calling him a mighty man of valour, he basically said if God was with them , how come they were in the position they were? Can you identify with that?
stop asking the question “How Come”, as a christian, how come this or that area of your life is not working, if God is supposed to be with you? I want to tell you that God knows the beginning and the end of your life, He knows each step you take till the day you will be no more( death).
As a believer christians, what lives in you is greater than what lives in the world. In any position or situation you find yourself, embrace the faith and the spirit in you and say thank you God.
No matter how prayerful you are, no matter how good you are, no matter your obedience to God, you will face challenges, and that is the fact. So never say to yourself again, “How come this happened to you or why is it you” because God allows it to happen to you.
The messenger from heaven said “Go in this thy might”. God is saying the same to you today. Because God's spirit, the greater One lives in you, step out in faith and you will be victorious in Jesus name, Amen.
