Hello beautiful people. Hope you all are doing amazing today. Its Its another beautiful day and i'm partaking in "My Favourite Food Contest" again by @blurtconnect-ng. Today I'm making a special delicacy called Moi Moi Some call it Òlèlè especially the Yorubas. The English name for it is Bean Pudding.

Now here's how to go about it. First, what you need are;
Beans,
Palm oil,
Crayfish,
Fish (Optional),
Boiled Eggs,
Onion,
Pepper,
Seasoning,
Salt to taste.

Now, to the making. You will first of all soak your beans in water for a while till it's soft and then you peel off the body whether with your hands or with small mortal and pestle.

Wash and sieve it well till the peels come off and you have only the white part. Wash your pepper, onion and crayfish well. After that, you blend the beans together with onion and pepper. Also blend your crayfish aside and make sure the egg(s) you will use are on the fire boiling. Below is what you will have.

Make sure you turn well with your turning stick. Then you add your palm oil, fish, blended crayfish, seasoning, and salt to taste, then turn it well. You can also decide to whisk raw eggs into it.

After that you gently pour the mixture in a nylon, tin, can or moimoi leaves as you wish. As you are doing that, put your boiled eggs little by little into each nylon, tin, can or leaf. Here I used both nylon and can. If you're using a tin can, make sure it is oiled either with palm oil or vegetable oil.

Now put it on the fire and leave it to boil for about 30 minutes or more depending on the number of wraps. Make sure to keep checking incase the water you put in the pot is drying up or if the moimoi is done. When its cooked, thats it. Your delicious moi moi is ready.

I love moimoi because of it's health benefits. It's quite proteinous and nutritious. Other ingredients also has their various health benefits that makes it whole. Another reason I love it is that it goes with varieties of food. You can enjoy it with pap, custard, garri, bread, rice and so on or even eat it alone.

Hopefully you'll also try this at home. Enjoy ☺️
