A viral video was trending on TikTok of a man who explain how he force his children wife to vote for the current president but at the end, his family are facing hunger strike.

As much as I am not a fan of any politicians, and never have I canvas for any and neither have I vote because of money. In fact, I have never voted before in my life. My voter's card have only been use to complete online registration etc.

Politicians are full of lies, they seek tye masses face to get what they and after that they become dictators and selfish individuals that seek the interest of themselves alone.

I saw a picture today online. During the last administration of buhari, everyone taught things were cost and high not until we find ourselves in this present government who promise us hope they but has handed to us hardship.

The federal government has taken a significant step in addressing the escalating food crisis gripping Nigeria by authorizing the release of 102,000 metric tonnes of rice and maize to help alleviate the burden of soaring food prices across the nation.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu convened a crucial meeting with top officials in his administration to strategize on tackling the pressing economic challenges facing the country.

This move came in response to the widespread outcry over hunger and the exorbitant cost of living, which sparked protests in several states earlier this week.

Following discussions at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, February 9th, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, unveiled the government's plans.

He indicated that measures would be implemented to prevent the hoarding of food items, and assured the public that rice and other grain prices would see a significant reduction in the coming days.

Moreover, Idris disclosed that the government is prepared to resort to importing additional supplies if necessary to bridge any shortfalls in the market.

Emphasizing President Tinubu's commitment to ensuring food security, Idris reiterated the assurance that "food will be made available, whatever it takes."

This announcement follows extensive deliberations by the Presidential Committee on Food Emergency, which convened in response to mounting public grievances over the escalating cost of food and other economic hardships.

With these proactive measures in place, there's hope that the government's intervention will provide much-needed relief to Nigerians struggling to afford essential food items.
