Today I will be sharing a story about little Samuel who lost all hope but later found a reason to keep striving, he discovered it is better to keep his head afloat lest he drowns, for this reason he promised himself he would do anything to bring himself out of the difficult situation he was in.
Samuel was only 10 years old when he lost both parents to the cold hands of death in a ghastly accident, little Samuel did not understand that life was going to change for the worst, the death of his parents marked the beginning of his pain as his uncle offered to adopt him and Carter for all his needs, the uncle loved Samuel and took him in as his own but his wife did the complete opposite, she despised Samuel and never bought the idea of him coming to live with them.

Not buying the idea of Samuel coming to live with them, she made his stay with them uncomfortable, every night Samuel cried and wished his parents would just come back to life, Samuel was made to do all the chores while his cousins were treated like princes and princesses, Samuel was made to miss school in order to carry out chores as expected or face the wrath of his uncle's wife, Samuel was brilliant and continued to excel in his academics and this as well made his uncle's wife envious of him.
It was time for Samuel to further to college, his uncle was willing to do the needful but his wife declined, in order for peace to reign he left Samuel to his Fate, Samuel realized the burden was on his shoulder now and his not going to let his dreams slide, he applied for numerous scholarships and got himself involved in different unskilled labour, he worked in a construction company, helped neighbors fetch firewood, he did a lot of menial jobs and got paid for doing so.
Samuel sat for the entrance exams and came out with flying colors, he had saved a lot from carrying out menial jobs and it was enough to start with, he had to stop menial jobs and face his studies as one of his uncles had promised to support him while in school, as always humans disappoint and when it was time to renew payment that uncle of his did not do as promised.
Samuel almost dropped out of college when he received an email, he has been offered a full scholarship by one of the firms he had earlier applied for, he was the happiest person on earth, his joy was not only expressed on his face but even how he walked showed how happy he is. With the help of the scholarship Samuel graduated from college with a degree in medicine and surgery, he got a job in a general teaching hospital.

Today Samuel is married and blessed with two kids, the Samuel who thought and felt like all hope was lost is now at the top, in a very good position and is better off without his uncle.
