Elon Musk's Biography Reveals 'Brutal' Love Story with Amber Heard

Not long ago, a new biography of Elon Musk with the same title was published. Written by the famous biographer, Walter Isaacson, the book sold well. One that is widely discussed is the love story of the Tesla captain and SpaceX.
Walter revealed that the love relationship that hurt Elon Musk the most was with actress Amber Heard, even more than Musk's bad relationship with his father. Amber is Johnny Depp's ex-wife who is now drowning after losing in court in a domestic violence case.

"The storm and chaos that both parties told me about, this is not a matter of dispute, that is part of the attraction," said Walter in the podcast On With Kara Swisher, quoted by detikINET from Insider, Monday (25/9/2023).

"This person (Elon Musk) is interested in drama and storms. When things are calm, he buys Twitter or whatever. So, this also applies to his relationship with Amber. Nothing hurts him more than that relationship," he explained.

Musk and Heard dated on and off after meeting at the 2016 Met Gala. They went public with their relationship in April 2017 before announcing their split months later. They had a relationship before breaking up again in 2018.

Walter spent two years close to Musk to write his biography. The book describes the psychological turmoil in Musk's many romantic relationships. Walter documents the intense arguments in Elon's relationship with Amber.

"Amber and Musk would stay up all night fighting, and then he wouldn't be able to wake up until the afternoon," Walter wrote. In the biography, Heard says she loves Musk very much but says, "Elon loves fire and sometimes it burns him."

When Walter asked Musk to explain his tumultuous love story, he replied, "I'm often stupid, but mostly because of love."

Canadian musician Grimes, Musk's ex with whom he has three children, told Walter that Musk associated love with being cruel or abusive in part because of his relationship with his father, Errol Musk.

Musk said his father bullied and belittled him throughout his childhood. In 2017, he told Rolling Stone that his father was a terrible human being who had done almost every evil thing you could possibly think of. Errol Musk denied the accusations.
