Greetings to this great community, welcome to my world (blog). I wanna Share with you guys my own part of the horror story, but before I proceed let me first of all say a big thanks to the wonderful Blurt user who came up with this idea of writing a horror story, (a big thanks to @tariqueshafique).
I'm not a witch
There lived a village named Ezeafoh, the village of Ezeafoh is really a God's promised Land because they're really enjoying the good works of nature, they were really blessed with agriculture, sheep 🐑, cattles 🐄, poultry🐔, and every thing that nature has as a blessing to mankind, indeed God was making everything work for their own good. They were enjoying all this together in unity But there was a girl who lived also in that same Village, whom all the villagers are spreading rumors that she and her mom was witches. (though I don't know if they're truly witches, but let's go ahead to Know how it goes). The girl's name is oluoma 👸, oluoma 👸 lived with her mom, they are the ones the village people are referring to be witches in the midst of humans.
It got to a point because of the depression oluoma's mom couldn't hold it anymore she now had an heart attack (she died as a result of depression). Oluoma was the only one left in the family, no one is ever coming close to her because of what they took her to be (witch).
One morning when everyone came out side they found all their cattles 🐄, poultry🐔animals, sheep 🐑 Dead and their farm crops everything withered. Every one was wondering what happened, they now took the complain to the king of the village named the igwe. They said igwe the people of Ezeafoh have suffered a great thing, so the igwe was confused and was asking about what happened, so the told him what happened, immediately he called a council meeting with all the heads of the village.
After they held the meeting,the solution they could come out with was that, oluoma was the cause of everything. The king ordered his guards to go and seize oluoma from the small hut her Mom built where they staying before she died. They brought her(oluoma) to the presence of the king and other heads of the village. They asked her about what she did, she was even tired of the kind of life she was living so she said yes she's to be blamed for what's happening then she made another statement of which no one understood what she meant(my truth will be your punishment). The king and the others decided to set her to death by hanging. They hanged her they stood there untill she took her last breathe. Even after her death, instead everything became worst, this time people started dying, getting possessed those who are being possessed they kill anyone they see, there was no peace in the village any more, people started running from one place to another looking for place to hide.
If you go out at night 🌃 you're assured that you're not coming back home alive because the villagers who are being possessed was walking in the street every where, they even break in to people's houses and kill them. The king's wife was killed too. Then they were asking each where they could get solution to this from but every one was confused.
They now went to a fortune teller's place, then the fortune teller told them to go get the corps of that innocent girl they killed that's how they'll know where their problem is coming from.
They went to the spot they hung her but her body was Missing, no one knew the way about of her body. Not knowing the king sent his guards to go and bury her in the Forest. When they told the King about the missing body. He also said he don't know where to find it (but I really wonder why the king will do such). So they continued to search just to find out about nothing.
The village continued to suffer famine, depression and deaths every where, what the fortune teller said about the innocent girl made them thought it was the girl's spirit that's making everything worst day and night 🌃. They ran out of alternatives to their solution.
But there was a little boy who saw when the king's guard came and took the body,but when he told his mom. His Mom asked him to keep it to himself because if anyone should hear such from him he'll get into serious trouble, so the boy obeys his mom's advice because he never wants to get into trouble.
But I don't really know what came over that boy he shared what he saw with his friends who were staying in the neighborhood. They decided to go for a research by themselves not by telling anyone, what they found out was far different from what they were thinking. They sneaked in to the king's privacy to meet any of the guard if they can get help from him, but the one they met asked them not to get involved with anything that's going on in the village, but they insisted not to do as the guard has said.
They kept on spying on the king without anyone's knowledge. Untill they found what was going on from the scratch, what they saw the king doing was he was feeding a very big python with some shining stars 🌟. But they didn't understand what that means. They went and met the fortune teller all by themselves. And told him what they saw the king doing. But the fortune teller didn't believe what the kids said.
The fortune teller consulted his gods about it, the result was that the king went and consulted the devil 😈 to seek more Powers from the devil 😈 so the devil requested for something in return. The king said he can share the village with him. So that was the roots of all what was happening, so that means the king is the cause of what was happening, the king was the one who layed the accusations on oluoma and her mom.
Immediately the news about who the king really is had gone round the whole village. The council were really disappointed at the king. They first of collected the crown 👑 from him, he was also killed to bring peace back to the village, that was how peace came back to the village. Thanks for reading my post.
