After 6 months working on a dairy. I no longer choose milk.
The practice is barbaric regardless of how nice the farmers are.
Meat is unnatural to harvest. When you connect with nature and the divine what is the first thought on your mind?
"Let's go kill an animal so we can fry its flesh and feast on its entrails!"
What a wonderful nature loving philosophy. (Sarcasm pointed out for reasons of internet texts often being misunderstood).
I am aware of the opposite of the vegan agenda. The animal agenda.
It's an agenda that's been going on since the dawn of the Roman empire. A dependence on second hand nutrients from animal's flesh and milk.
Meat is meant to cause better short term growth to begin with yet debilitates the mental and physical capabilities over time and generates an entire host of diseases not common within plant based eaters.
But it is not veganism per se - that is the answer - it's self-responsibility-ism.
Let's take self-responsibility.
Eating live food, raw fruit, nuts, legumes, grains (sprouted) and vegetables. Fermented foods - these create a bounty of foods with minimal digestion required - nutrients readily available for the body.
We, quite simply, are not meant to sit with large quantities of food in our guts to rot over time until eventually the body can process it. Regardless of whether it is a vegan rotting food gut belly or a meat one.
This is what generates disease - large masses of rotting food - thriving grounds for bacteria.
You can be vegan and only eat potato chips. I've seen it and there are quite a few Morticias in the vegan anarcho scene who deprive themselves of source but still worship the mouth.
So I say let's fuck off with veganism and say hello to self-responsibility-ism.
Self responsibility of nature, life, food, others - meaning - true sustainability and empathy. Let's fuck off with 'movements' and labels. Let's get gritty with the common sense and in working towards the same goals - we create the same future. Let's clean our minds as well.
Nothing like a good shit stir in the morning.
EPIC comment! 🤩
So true, the label has lost it's meaning.
But come on - self-responsibility-ism - bit of a mouthful. Gimme something easier to spell hahaha
