Good day friends I bring to you my delicious local food called afang soup (salad)
This food is found mainly amongst the crossriverian it can be eating with pounded yam fufu semovita or eba, I will be preparing mine with Eba(Garri)
Recipe
- Afang leaf grinded
- Waterleaf
- Smoked fish
- Kanda(kpomo)goat skin
- Periwinkle (nfi)
- Pepper
- Maggi
- Salt
- Onions
- 4 cups of Garri
Methods Of Preparation
First wash the vegetables, remove the gills from the fish, wash the periwinkle
- Boil the periwinkle for 1_2 minutes bring it down and wash again
- Put the waterleaf in an empty and then put on the fire allow it to boil for some time
- Add oil to the waterleaf
Add pepper salt Maggi and onions
Add the periwinkle nfi
Then put the afang leaf(grinded)
Then add the smoked fish and the Kanda (goat skin)
Add little water to it
And now the soup is ready
how to make the Eba
- Put water in a kettle and put on the fire allow it to boil
- Turn the water in a clean pot
- Add the Garri to the pot of hot water allow the Garri to disolve then you turn it to get your desired taste
Here comes the delicious afang soup and Eba
