PDI Perjuangan politician, Sondang Tampubolon, responded to the statement by the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, regarding criticism and sarcasm towards the current rulers. According to Sondang, this criticism was to remind the government and all state officials not to use power arbitrarily.
"Ms. Mega wants to remind you that Indonesia is a country of law and a democratic country. State instruments must be upright with legislation, not to pressure the community," said Sondang in her statement, quoted on Wednesday (29/11/2023).
