ENERGY TRANSFORMATION.

Hello friends. I want to talk about energy and it's transformation.
Energy can be transformed from one form to another using suitable machines or a appliances .
Examples;
-The steam engine changes heat energy to mechanical energy.
-The solar cell converts the heat of the sun to electrical energy.

• The electric fire converts electrical energy to heat energy.
• A microphone changes sound energy to electrical energy.
• A telephone earpiece changes electrical energy to sound energy.
• A battery changes chemical energy to electrical energy. A reverse of this results to electroplating.
• The energy from the sun produces chemical changes which makes plants grow. This energy is stored underground.

An electric power station illustrates how energy can be changed from one form to another so as to produce light and heat energy in homes, offices etc.
At first, coal is burned so that heat energy is produced( from chemical to heat energy ) By the use of turbine or a stream engine, the heat energy produced Is converted into mechanical energy . This mechanical energy turns the coils of an electric generator.
As the coils of the generator are turned, electric energy is produced and supplied to the public.
Electric lamps, heaters and so on transforms these electrical energy into heat energy, light energy and so on.
