My Favourite Writer Is Charles Dicken

Good day dear friends, i have been looking forward to a day when I will be able to experience my myself about my favourite writer, and now this Is an opportunity for me.

I have read and appreciated so many writers but Charles Dickens is my favourite author. Like the way he narrates his story is so wonderful and the reader’s never loose it in reading his books.

My favourite author is Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens is an English writer. He lived in England in Victorian age. He is a famous novelist of English language. Charles Dickens is a social commentator, a moralist and a reformer.

He has clearly described the world of crime in die Victorian England. He has rare gifts of humour and pathos and he has blended them beautifully in his novels. It is indeed a wonderful experience to read the novels of Charles Dickens.
When it comes to Victorian literature no one was as prolific or influential as Charles Dickens even to the extent that we still use the word "Dickensian” to describe things reminiscent of his works. He is a famous novelist of English language.

If you ever had to read one of his books tittled "Great Expectations" or "A Tale of Two Cities" for school, you probably have a pretty good idea of what Dickens entails .

Read A Tale of Two Cities and you will not be able to forget the character of Sydney Carton who has a rough down exterior but a gently heart and who lays down his life for a noble cause.

• Great expectations

• Our mutual friend

• A haunted man and the ghost bargain

• A Christmas Carol

but am still reading A Christmas Carol

These novels and many others Several of these stories have been adopted for the cinema and have been made into successful films.

When Dickens wrote these stories he could not have dreamt that his stories would be filmed and shown to thousand of people in different countries of the world to watch.

Reason Why I Like Charles Dickens
My reason of liking Dickens is that I like him for the engrossing stories of these novels for the streak of humour running through his writings and for the sympathy he shows towards suffering of the poor and alone of all for his delicate understanding of children.

Charles Dickens has portrayed the character of small children with such sensitive and delicate understanding that the writings immediately appeal to the reader..

He have an art of describing a character in such a way that the character seem to come to life and walk out of the pages of the book to stand before our eye. His characters are unforgettable once you read about them you would feel that you have struck friendship with them.

Charles Dickens will forever remain my Favourite Writer.
