WHO SHOULD WE BLAME
The rate of ritual among the youths which is termed yahoo is alarming in our society, thereby leading to persistent and continuous mental disorder and premature death among claimed leaders of tomorrow.
In the view of this above,who should we blame;
** PARENTS:** In the quest to wear the best hollandia wrappers and live in the most finest houses,parents tends to push their children to go and become like others not minding how and what they do to get rich.
PEER PRESSURE: The pressures from peers among the youths,they say to themselves"let's do this and get what we want",they pressure themselves into going extra mile just to wear the best clothes and snap with the latest Benz.
*SOCIAL MEDIA: social media has contributed immensely to the rate of ritual among the youths,the youths of our generation are carried away by the things like cars,dresses and phones they see online,in quest to get those things, they venture into get rich quick and ritual.
NOLLYWOOD: What the youths watch in Nigeria movie these days aided the get rich quick mentality of the youth,gone are the days when Nollywood movies impact good morals to the youths.
GOVERNMENT: The government of our country has solely contributed alot,they tends to loot the nation of it's goodies, thereby leaving and uncertainty for the youths. The rate of unemployment among the graduates can make one venture into ritual to get rich and satisfy the curiousity of the family.
** SOCIETY:** The society we found ourselves is not left out,it has contributed immensely too,wonder how a woman will laugh a youth for not been rich like others and you expect the youth to fold his/her hands and watch another laugh them also,they tends to engage into ritual to prove themselves thereby leading to rampant madness among the youths.
In conclusion,in the view of these points above,I urge the youths to shun every form of pressure and trust God and themselves so to curb the incessant mental disorder among the youths.
You won't blame your parents, pressure from peer groups,what you see on social media,things you watch on Nollywood,the failed government of the country and the corrupt society when you loose your mental health in the process of get rich quick or ritual.
