Fun fact: the pink dolphin

in blurtconnect •  3 years ago  (edited)

This is surprising to me as I haven't seen a pink dolphin before. I know most of us haven't, because this particular creature is rare.

As much as it seems unreal,it is real. It is found throughout much of the Amazon and Orinoco river basins in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela.

They are actually born grey, but with time, their skin turns pink .
The males are said to be slightly pinkier than their female counterparts.
They aren't extinct yet, but their population seems very low.
I hope they remain forever 🤭
