Kim Jong Un brought a Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman Guard when he visited Russia. This is how the North Korean leader transports his car.
Kim Jong Un last week came to Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin. During his visit to Russia, Kim was known to have brought his own limousine from Pyongyang. Seen when he arrived at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, Kim got out of the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman Guard, the side of the door of which had a special logo.

The car was transported using a bulletproof armored train. This was revealed in a video clip uploaded by the X Ramy_Sawma account showing Kim's car being parked and entering the train. It can be seen that the driver is very careful when loading the car into the train carriage. Even the front door was opened.

"Kim Jong Un's limo is parked inside a bulletproof train in Russia," wrote Ramy_Sawma.

This luxury car with a high level of security has been seen accompanying Kim Jong Un several times when he visited several countries. For example, when visiting Singapore, the Vietnam Summit, and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between South Korea and North Korea. Cars like the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard are commonly used by leaders in the world. Interestingly, when we talk about North Korea, the existence of the Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Guard becomes a question.

The reason is, North Korea is still under sanctions from the UN for importing luxury goods, including cars. Quoted by CNN, in data uploaded by a non-profit organization from Washington, the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (C4ADS), it was stated that the cars were sent from the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands. It took months for the car to finally reach North Korea after stopping in China, Japan, South Korea and Russia. Daimler, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, also admitted that it did not know where the cars accompanying Kim Jong Un came from.

"Our company has had no business relations with North Korea for more than 15 years, we also comply with the embargo regulations issued by the European Union and the United States. To prevent shipments to North Korea, Daimler implemented a comprehensive export control process which we consider to be appropriate and effective in accordance with requirements from the authorities," explained Daimler in a statement some time ago.

Apart from the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman Guard, it was also recently revealed that Kim Jong Un's bodyguard uses a Hyundai Staria. There were four Hyundai Staria used by the bodyguards, one of which had the 'H' logo clearly exposed. On other Hyundai Staria, the 'H' logo on the front of the car is covered with stickers so that it does not indicate that it is a car made by Hyundai Motors from South Korea.
