I added a healthy twist to it using the best ingredients but incorporating more dark brown sugar so I reduced the amount of granulated white sugar. The specialty of my Banana Bread is that I added Dark Chocolate Chips, Roasted Walnuts, Coconut Flakes, and a Brown Sugar glazed on slice Bananas.
RECIPE:
Flour Mixture:
- 1 3/4 cups of flour (remember to stiff the flour once)
- 1/2 cups of granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Banana Mixture
- 3 Ripe Bananas. (If Banana isn't ripe, you can bake it in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees until it gets ripe.
- Use a fork to mushed the Bananas than combined it with the other ingredients in the Banana mixture.
- 2 eggs (whisk eggs first)
- 1/2 cup of yogurt
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of butter
*Mix the Banana Mixture together with the mushed Bananas than combined the Flour Mixture and whisk until fully combined.
- Combined you roasted walnuts after the batter is mixed than use a spatula to fold the batter with the walnuts.
- Spray the Loaf Pan with a butter spray or oil than put your batter in.
*You can add whatever toppings on the top but I added Dark Chocolate chips, more walnuts, Coconut Flakes and sliced a banana in half and place both of them on top than sprinkle some brown sugar onto of the Banana.
●Preheat your oven at 350 degrees and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
