INGREDIENTS
2.5 kg medium potatoes
2 large lemons
150 g butter
150 ml vegetable oil
2.5 tbsp black peppercorns
a pinch of salt
STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Wash and peel potatoes. Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Place the tuber in a tablespoon and make deep parallel cuts at 3 mm intervals from top to bottom: the spoon will not allow you to cut the potatoes completely. Cut each tuber this way.
Step 2
Grind the pepper in a mortar. Remove the zest from the lemons with a knife or grater.
Step 3
Heat butter and oil on a baking sheet. When the butter sizzles, add the potatoes and lemon zest. Sprinkle the potatoes liberally with melted butter, salt and season with ground black pepper.
Step 4
Bake potatoes 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes until golden brown and soft. Remove lemon zest, pepper and serve.
