I’m a forager so I made:
Three cornered leek, wild garlic, jelly ears, velvet shank and cleavers Yachaejeon 야채전 (korean pancake).
Bloodwise I’m half korean but my mum grew up in japan so I ate more Japanese dishes when I was younger. I am now learning more about my korean roots through cooking!
Minus the dipping sauce, this meal probably cost about 10p (for the flour and the oil) as everything else is foraged from the countryside near where I live 🤪 a lot of the plants people think of as weeds are actually delicious and more nutritious than ones in shops. I didn’t want it too greasy for a weekday lunch so I reduced the flour! 🥰
