The other day, there was an event called Setsubun in Japan. It is an event to drive out "Oni" (demons) who may be in the house and bring happiness.

In recent years, the number of households that do not do much is increasing. However, some families do it because people and children who value such events enjoy it.
In recent years, the custom of eating thick-rolled sushi has begun in Setsubun.
The thick sushi rolls that are eaten at Setsubun are called "Ehomaki".
There are 7 ingredients, "Kanpyo", "Boiled shiitake mushrooms", "Datemaki omelet", "Grilled eel", "Boiled shrimp", "Cucumber" and "Sakura denbu".
It takes money and effort to prepare all of these ingredients, so when you make them at home, you usually make them with what you usually eat.
I used tuna, salmon, squid, mushrooms, carrots, baby corn, Japanese omelet, and lettuce.
