Ingredients 2-3 portion
**For Broth
1L Water
10-12 pcs Dried kelp(Dash)
5 pcs Soaked dry Shiitake (it will be used for garnish after making a broth)
1.5 portion Homemade vegan dumpling
1.5 portion Sliced rice cake
**Defrozen dumplings in advance and soak rice cakes in water for 30 mins
1/2 Onion
1 Spring onion
1/2 Carrot
2 Garlic
1 1/2 Tbsp Soy sauce
1/4 Tbsp Salt (control it as per you prefer)
How to make
First, defrost homemade dumplings and soak sliced rice cakes in water for a while.
Make Dashi broth with dried kelp and shiitake mushrooms.
Remove dried kelp before it gets sticky and take shiitake mushrooms out.
Slice shiitake mushroom when it is cooled down.
Cut and trim vegetables, slice onion and carrot thin and long, half of spring onion as well. Chop the rest of spring onion in small pieces.
Season the broth with soy sauce and salt.
Add sliced rice cake and dumplings with carrot and onion.
Once it boils, add chopped spring onion.
Plate dumpling soup up and place garnish on the top.
