"Palitaw" with Caramel Sauce

in blurtchef •  8 months ago

I have mentioned before in my previous blogs that I love innovating recipes. 😁 This one here is no different. "Palitaw" is a common Filipino food that is made of glutinous rice flour and water. It's typical coating is grated coconut with roasted sesame seeds and sugar.

But this time I tried preparing it with caramel sauce! It may look kind of weird in the photo below but it does not taste bad at all. 😂 It tastes good!

With the sweetness of the caramel sauce paired with the palitaw which has no taste by the way because I did not add sugar into it, the combination is just perfect!

Below are the ingredients used for this recipe.

Palitaw
1 cup glutinous rice flour
1/2 cup water
roasted sesame seeds

Caramel sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup water

For video procedure, please watch the video below.

I hope you like this innovation. 😁 Thank you for watching and reading!

Until next time!

xoxo,
Met
