Pinaltok - A Filipino Snack

in blurtchef •  7 months ago

Hello Blurtters!

It's been a while since I haven't posted here. I got busy with other matters. But I am back now. I will be sharing with you another Filipino snack. This was introduced to me by my husband. He said they used to cook this with his mom when they were younger. This is not the usual snack you will see on the streets. But this one is delicious. It is called Pinaltok. The photo below looks like meat balls but it's not. LOL

The ingredients are:

unripe Banana (saba)
coconut milk
tapioca pearls (sago)
pinch of salt
glutinous rice flour
sugar

Making this snack may take quite a lot of effort but it is worth it. Below is the video procedure.

Thank you for reading and watching. If you find this recipe interesting, don't hesitate to leave a comment.

Until next time!

xoxo,
Met
