Growing up, my mother liked to pan fry little patties dipped in egg wash. Filing the tasty, they were a comforting staple at big family holiday events or tucked into lunch boxes 🍱 the next day.
Dong-gue-rang-taeng is name after its shape. "Dong-gue-rang" is derived from “dong-gue-ra-mi" meaning circleâ•. “Taeng" is derived from an old korean word taeng-jeon meaning coin.
It’s great way to get your kids‍👼 involved with the making but also a great way to hide vegetables into their food 🥕.
It is not the quickest dish to make but you can make a big batch and freeze in smaller portions. All you have to do next time is to heat them up and enjoy.
