Fresh ingredients always add that little something to your culinary experiences. Hello fresh basil you're looking so nice and neat. Stepped out of the shower and I got this candid shot. Still dripping a little from the looks of it. Cover the eyes of the little ones out there.
I like to slap my herbs but with the best intentions. They smell so nice and this releases even more flavor. This little plant is so nice, bountiful and seems to last forever.
So what do I use it for?
I like adding it to a nice red sauce for those Italian nights, as a topping on a fresh pizza and I make a mean basil chicken wrap in crispy lettuce.
