Stir fried garlic pea shoots done at home. Finally mastered this dish to a T. Now I don’t have to order this expensive dish outside at the Chinese Restaurants anymore 😍😋😋😋
Recipe for Stir Fried Pea Shoots
Let the pea shoots sit in water for 30 mins
Drain and let sit to dry for an hour.
1 1/4 lb of pea shoots
1 thumb size ginger sliced
1 1/4 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp sugar
1 splash of Hsiao Xing wine
1 splash of fish sauce
Sprinkle of black pepper
1 tsp of knorrs chicken concentrated essence/broth mixed with 1 tbsp water
- Heat wok with 2-3 tbsp of oil on high
- Put in ginger until fragrant then add garlic
- Put in pea shoots and mix well ensuring all leaves are well coated
- Then put in rest of ingredients
- Stir fry for up to two mins; dish up.
If you have chicken fat, add to oil as it intensifies the flavour even more so
