Ballet - My Favourite Dance (ENG/ESP)

Is there a word that is a bit better than worse? That's how I can rate my dance abilities, I'm not a good dancer but I can't say I'm the worse dancer in the whole world or maybe I am.

Well that aside, I love to watch people dance a lot. Maybe because I don't know how to dance and looking at others dance may help me learn how to dance or get some tips to better my awkward dance steps. So I've watched lots of dances, different kinds and even in movies.

But the recent movie I watched made me fall in love once again with the dance called Ballet. Trust me when I say, that it would be a super difficult dance for me to learn but it is my favourite so maybe with that thought in mind, I may get to learn how to dance ballet soon.

It's origin is from the Italian renaissance back to the fifteenth century... A really old kind of dance but "Old is gold" and I can say same for this dance.

What I like about Ballet Dance...

Everything and I mean, there is nothing I don't like about the dance. Okay, let me break it down in bits to express my love for the dance.

Ballet dance isn't just about the dance, there are a lot of elements that combined to make the dance an amazing one to watch and here are the ones that made me love the dance.

The Costumes

My first attraction to the dance is the beautiful costumes the dancers wear. Every costume with it's own meaning... Ballet dance performances always have meanings that the costumes helps to relate more to the audience.

Even ballet dancers in their rehearsal rooms look stunning in their ballet training wears, that is how beautiful I see them no matter what they are wearing so long it's a ballet wear.

I've seen a movie where a fashion designer came up with awesome designs for her work place (A ballet school). I think the designs were super, it made me love ballet wears even more.

The Music

I love music generally so I think it's an added one for me when it comes to watching ballet dance. The dance expresses music way deeper than any other dance to me. There's this particular song I love most that is used in a few ballet dance I've watched.

I can't remember the name but I remember very well that it was used in "Barbie in the pink shoes" a cartoon that expresses ballet more to me.

I love the way I feel with the music that the dance follows, so calming and refreshing... I can only imagine how it would be to watch the dance in reality (I've never come across one in my country, not yet though).

The dance itself

I love the movement of their bodies, their legs and heads when they dance. I've come to learn that there are names for every movement they make and I'll share them here too.

The plier movement is to bend, the Etendre movement is to stretch, the relever movement is to rise, the sauter movement is to jump, the tourner movement is to turn, the glisser movement is to glide, the elancer movement is to dart.

My favourite movement is where the ballet dancer jumps, turns then stretches freely like he was born doing it (a combination of three movements). Ballet dancers do make it seem really easy to give ballet dancing a try but I'm yet to.

Why I would like to learn ballet dance...

The main reason is because I love the dance when I see people do it so freely, another reason is because I saw a movie that got me to love the dance more.

I also learnt about a lot of benefits that a ballet dancer would gain. Ballet dancers are blessed with good posture, calming spirit and good communication skills... Just most of what I need to be a better version of myself.

I really think I need to explore this dance more and give it a try no matter how hard it will be at first. Thank goodness I'm not fat with too much weight, maybe I'd do great in it.

¿Hay una palabra que sea un poco mejor que peor? Así es como puedo calificar mis habilidades de baile, no soy un buen bailarín pero no puedo decir que soy el peor bailarín en todo el mundo o tal vez lo soy.

Bueno, aparte de eso, me encanta ver bailar mucho a la gente. Tal vez porque no sé bailar y mirar a otros bailar puede ayudarme a aprender a bailar u obtener algunos consejos para mejorar mis pasos de baile incómodos. Así que he visto muchos bailes, de diferentes tipos e incluso en películas.

Pero la película reciente que vi me hizo enamorarme una vez más del baile llamado Ballet. Confía en mí cuando digo que sería un baile muy difícil de aprender para mí, pero es mi favorito, así que tal vez con ese pensamiento en mente, pueda aprender a bailar ballet pronto.

Su origen es del renacimiento italiano hasta el siglo XV... Un tipo de baile muy antiguo pero "Lo viejo es oro" y puedo decir lo mismo de este baile.

Lo que me gusta de la Danza Ballet...

Todo y digo, no hay nada que no me guste del baile. Bien, permítanme dividirlo en partes para expresar mi amor por el baile.

La danza del ballet no se trata solo de la danza, hay muchos elementos que se combinan para hacer que la danza sea increíble de ver y estos son los que me hicieron amar la danza.

Los trajes

Mi primera atracción por el baile son los hermosos trajes que usan los bailarines. Cada disfraz con su propio significado... Las actuaciones de danza del ballet siempre tienen significados que el vestuario ayuda a relacionar más con el público.

Incluso las bailarinas de ballet en sus salas de ensayo se ven impresionantes con su ropa de entrenamiento de ballet, así de hermosas las veo sin importar lo que lleven puesto, siempre que sea una ropa de ballet.

He visto una película en la que a una diseñadora de moda se le ocurrieron diseños increíbles para su lugar de trabajo (una escuela de ballet). Creo que los diseños quedaron estupendos, me hizo amar aún más la ropa de ballet.

La música

Me encanta la música en general, así que creo que es algo adicional para mí cuando se trata de ver bailar ballet. El baile expresa la música mucho más profundamente que cualquier otro baile para mí. Hay una canción en particular que más me gusta y que se usa en algunos bailes de ballet que he visto.

No recuerdo el nombre pero recuerdo muy bien que se usó en "Barbie con los zapatos rosas" una caricatura que me expresa más el ballet.

Me encanta cómo me siento con la música que sigue el baile, tan relajante y refrescante... Solo puedo imaginar cómo sería ver el baile en realidad (nunca me he encontrado con uno en mi condado, aunque todavía no).

El baile en sí

Me encanta el movimiento de sus cuerpos, sus piernas y cabezas cuando bailan. He llegado a aprender que hay nombres para cada movimiento que hacen y los compartiré aquí también.

El movimiento plier es doblar, el movimiento Etendre es estirar, el movimiento relever es subir, el movimiento sauter es saltar, el tourner el movimiento es girar, el movimiento glisser es deslizarse, el movimiento elancer es lanzarse.

Mi movimiento favorito es donde el bailarín salta, gira y luego se estira libremente como si hubiera nacido haciéndolo (una combinación de tres movimientos). Los bailarines de ballet hacen que parezca muy fácil intentar bailar ballet, pero yo aún no lo he hecho.

Por qué me gustaría aprender a bailar ballet...

La razón principal es porque me encanta el baile cuando veo que la gente lo hace tan libremente, otra razón es porque vi una película que me hizo amar más el baile.

También aprendí sobre muchos beneficios que obtendría un bailarín de ballet. Los bailarines de ballet están bendecidos con una buena postura, un espíritu tranquilo y buenas habilidades de comunicación... Solo la mayor parte de lo que necesito para ser una mejor versión de mí mismo.

Realmente creo que necesito explorar más este baile e intentarlo sin importar lo difícil que sea al principio. Gracias a Dios que no estoy gorda con demasiado peso, tal vez me iría muy bien.
