The evolvement of Technology has helped us a lot, thanks to our teacher @ubongudofot who has devoted his time to breaking down everything we need to know about the computer system and how it works, with the little knowledge I gained from his class I will be submitting my assignment.
From the class we were taught all we needed to know about operating systems, computer hardware's are those parts of the computer we can see and touch while computer software are programs used to carry out specific task on a Computer.
IOS Operating System:
This is an operating system which is designed and programmed to power hardwares such as iPhone, iPad, ipod. The apple iOS operating system was designed based on the Mac OS X operating system for laptops and desktops and which makes it different from other operating system. Apple iOS operating system are built with strong antivirus which hinders viruses/malware from apps to attack or gain full access to the device.
Android Operating System: This is another form of operating system which was first designed in 2003, it was built to power telephones and table computers, Android Operating System later evolved into an operating system for smartphones and turned out to be the most used operating system around the world.
I am currently using an Android Operating System, the latest version of android operating system is version 12.0 and was built based on Linux. I have been making use of an Android Operating System for the past three years, I hope to try out making use of the apple iOS operating system soon.
Since the iOS operating system are quite expensive a lot of people just go for the Android Operating System, and based on research approximately 70% if the world population uses an Android Operating System.
My first experience with an operating system was funny as I did not know how it works, it was an Android Operating System and it was quite complicated at first, I almost deleted everything on my mobile phone but was cautioned by my brother. It took me sometime before I could understand how am operating system functions.
In conclusion, from the class I was made to know that without operating systems our mobile devices will not work, thank God for the evolvement of operating system which made life easier.
