Hello Everyone.
canva designs.
I fear mathematics and anything related to this particular subject everyday I wish I could do away with mathematics but it seems life itself revolves around maths.
I have been opportuned to learn a lot about algebra from the class and I am grateful to the tutor, the Steemkids community keeps offering members the opportunity to learn and I am one of those people who have benefitted.
It's quite hard for people to state the difference that exist between Algebraic Expression and Algebraic Equation, but the class has made that quite easy for me. The difference that exist between Algebraic Expression and Algebraic Equation is stated below:
An Algebraic Expression simply refers to a mathematical expression which is made up of numbers and variables (letters) but contains no equality sign. For example: 3y + 6y - 1.
On the other hand An Algebraic Equation is a mathematical equation which is made up of numbers and variables containing an equality sign which connects both sides of the equation. For example 4r + 2 = 2r.
The term coefficient of a constant in an Algebraic Expression or Equation simply refers to the number by the side of a variable. For example 4r + 2, the number 4 is the coefficient of r. While constant are numbers in an Expression or Equation with no letter by it side, from the example above 2 is a constant.
The given equation "2x + 3 = 0", from this given equation it can be state that 2 is the coefficient of X.
We will be representing the pen with the letter P and the note book with the letter n, with that been said we will now input these letters and the number of items bought into an equation as shown below.
- 8p + 5n = 10
Word problems is another challenge to student in mathematics but the tutor broke it down to everyone's understanding and I am glad I was able to understand this from the class. I really appreciate the Steemkids community and alongside our able tutor for the opportunity given to us.
@onyekachi08, do you think it's fair to plagiarize davido-o's steemkids assignment? How can you copy someone's assignment on steemit to post it on blurt?? Everything verbatim!
