Hello Blurtians!
We're currently experiencing the peak of the dry season, meaning we're enduring extremely hot temperatures. Sweating all over our bodies is a common scenario we encounter every day. As the Gen Z always joke in Facebook posts, we're practically living in hell. It's not advisable to go out or directly expose oneself to the sunlight from 10 AM to 4 PM, as the heat of the sun is intolerable.
Doctors constantly advise us to drink plenty of water, preferably cold water, during this time. But sometimes, cold water is not enough; my body needs more. Have you also experienced that?
As of this writing, the heat index in my place today is 32 degrees. My body really needs plenty of liquids to survive in this hot weather.
While going about my daily routine today, I was craving a cold buko juice. Since my neighbor sells buko juice and some afternoon delights, I bought a bottle to quench my thirst and satisfy my cravings. I paired it with biko. It was really delicious. Have you ever paired the two? How was it?
Although it was still very hot, at least my body temperature temporarily cooled down. The weather this time made me broke. That's it for today, Blurtians.
