UPDATES TO THE BLURTBOOKS PROJECT

It's been quite a little while. A lot has been happening under the radar and we wanted to take out some time to inform the community of what has happened or what we have been up to so far.
It's going to be quite a short read so you're welcome to follow us up every step of the way.
1 - NOVEMBER PAYOUT TO DELEGATORS
For the month of November, we have paid out the BBK tokens to this who delegating to the @blurtbooks account here on Blurt. If you're a delegator, you can check your Hive-Engine account to see your payouts.
We are grateful for the delegations as they give us a sense of being trustworthy and we promise to continue to be. If you are yet to, you can still delegate Blurt to the @blurtbooks account and receive BBK tokens monthly.
Payouts are done at the end of the month on a 10:1 basis. As such, if you delegate 100,000 Blurt power to @blurtbooks, you will receive 10,000 BBK tokens every month. Sounds awesome right?
2 - CURATION
Currently, we have begun curating a number of posts, especially introduction posts and other well written posts. This is still under the radar, as we are working on tags that would be implemented for the purpose of our curation.
We want to help original content creators and writers on Blurt grow, while also building a community of writers, readers and reviewers via the BlurtBooks project. Everyone is welcome to join!
3 - CONTESTS
We've had one writing contest so far and payments will be processed to the winners of the contest. It didn't garner the desired audience as we had low turnouts.
However, we shall hold more contests in the nearest future. For now, we are working on recruitment of writers and fun loving bloggers onto the Blurt ecosystem.
4 - BLURTBOOKS MARKETING UPDATE
According to our timeline of events, otherwise known as Roadmap, we are currently supposed to be carrying out marketing activities. That is exactly what we are doing.
However, the main strategy we are employing is talking to the head, so that the head puts other parts of the body in line. That basically has us reaching out to authors, so that the authors can do the marketing to their fans.
Quite simple right? Makes a whole lot of sense to me. If we can have established authors publish their books on BlurtBooks, would help us gain the popularity we need sooner than expected.
5 - BLURTBOOKS BOOKSTORE
We are having a lot of progress with the BlurtBooks bookstore. We are hopeful that it would be ready for use before the launch date as we have planned.
To get that done effectively as possible, we would be removing some pages, like "Our Partners" page and a few others for this version. As development is an ongoing thing, we would add pages as the need comes up.
6 - LISTING BBK TOKENS ON OTHER EXCHANGES
We will start working on listing BBK token on other exchanges soon. Once we get our website up and running, and our social media pages up, we shall begin the entire process of listing.
We will also work on putting BBK tokens on platforms like Coingecko, and Coinmarketcap to enable us track the price of the BBK Token better.
7 - HOW TO PURCHASE BBK TOKEN
Purchasing BBK token is pretty simple and straight forward. To be able to purchase BBK, you would need to have a Hive-Engine account, and some Hive token, the native token of the Hive blockchain.
Visit Hive-Engine.com and sign up using any of the free or paid methods if you do not already have an account.
Request for your keys and log into the exchange with your posting key.
Once you have logged in successfully, you are almost ready to start trading on Hive-Engine.
Fund your Hive-Engine wallet by purchasing Hive on either Binance or Probit or Ionomy, any exchange you are familiar with that lists the Hive token. Send the purchased Hive to your wallet (your Hive-Engine username).
Next, to deposit the Hive token to Hive-Engine for buying BBK, click on the Deposit button and choose Hive.
Click on Get Deposit info next. You can now see your Hive token there. To be able to trade on Hive-Engine, you ned Swap.hive which is basically same token. So the process of depositing Hive to Hive-Engine gives you Swap.hive which you can use to trade on Hive-Engine.
Once successfully deposited, you can now visit the link _ https://hive-engine.com/?p=market&t=BBK _ to buy BBK or search for it on the tokens list.
