A number of points in Jakarta experienced traffic jams this morning. The dense volume of vehicles occurs both on toll roads and on arterial roads.
In East Jakarta (East Java), traffic jams occur on the Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta. PT Jasa Marga reported that congestion occurred on the Cikampek toll road towards Halim and Cawang.
"From the Cikampek Toll Road, the density around Halim-Cawang is dense, related to the volume of vehicles," said Jasa Marga's call center officer, Siti when contacted, Tuesday (31/1/2023).
Furthermore, there are also traffic jams from Bogor. Jasa Marga informed that traffic jams occurred around Cilitan, precisely at Km 1 to Km 0.
"From the direction of Bogor, just information around Cililitan Cawang, yes, the volume of vehicles is dense. Around Cililitan, it is approximately from Km 1 to Km 0," he said.
Meanwhile, the NTMC Polri call center officer, Sella, conveyed a number of congestion points on arterial roads in Jakarta. The traffic jam occurred on Jl MT Haryono, Jl Gatot Subroto, to Mampang. Even though the traffic is heavy, vehicles can still move.
"For the arteries in MT Haryono there is a little density, but vehicles can still run. In Gatot Subroto and Mampang at this time, the information is that only a little density is being monitored, but it can still run," he said.
Meanwhile, in Central Jakarta, the NTMC Polri stated that it was still being monitored smoothly. However, on Jl KH Mas Mansyur there is a little density but it can still move.
NTMC also monitored that in the Slipi area towards Cawang there was congestion due to the entrance to the toll gate. Traffic jams also occur in East Jakarta, such as around East Jakarta PGC, on Jl Dewi Sartika to be precise.
"Only a little density on Jl Dewi Sartika," he said.
