Bayanihan is one of the most basic Filipino values that was taught to us when we were little and enforced by our parents in our day to day life. My parents would normally say lets help each other as we live in the same community. Help does not necessarily mean in monetary values but most of time help comes in the form of our active community participation, wisdom, advises, etc. Bayanihan is very common in most provinces like on special occassions like weddings or birthdays we help by offering our time and in helping the celebrants in tbe preparations, in this picture it shows some of our neighbors help in transferring this nipa hut from one parcel of land to another.

Bayanihan is also very evident in times of great need like the last typhoon Odette where in the island of Cebu was devastated on the after math. But we help each other in clearing roads, located drinking water and where to find solar powered flash lights.

For me this trait or values needs to passed on to the next generations. Lets help each other in a creating a much safer and leavable earth. And that's all for today thank you. See you on my next post,, @yodipgerali
