Bikers on The Streets of Lagos - (Acrylic Painting).

in blurtart •  5 months ago

I shared an incomplete painting some time ago and the painting is finally done and I am sharing it now. The painting like I shared earlier, highlights the life of bikers on the streets of Lagos in Nigeria before I the use of bike was eventually ban by the government of Lagos state some months ago.

As a huge fan of bike, I really miss the fact that there aren't bikes on our streets in Lagos anymore but at the same time, I am very much happy because the rate at with accidents do happen on Lagos roads have not reduced drastically due to the ban on bikes.

This painting portrays the only moment where and when you can find Lagos commercial bikers calm and stable and that's whenever they are at their park. Whenever they are on the run/move you should expect anything fast, risky and reckless.

I made the painting with acrylic on one of my A3 Canvas pad and I really took my time creating this because I do have intention of recreating it as my final year practical project in the University in few weeks from now.
