Good Day Fellas,
The story/history of bikers on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria comes with lots of tragedy and misfortune. Although, the availability of bikes in Lagos made it easier for lots of people to beat traffic most of the time but in many cases it does come with painful prices.
Lots of accidents do happen on Lagos roads and many are caused by the impatience and recklessness of this bikers. Eventually, the Lagos state government placed a ban on the use of commercial bikes in Lagos and to some extent, the road had been more safer since then.
I'm intention is to create a big painting that highlights the existence of bikes and the ban on bikes on the streets of Lagos. I want my audience who are familiar with the bike life in Lagos to catch up with the nostalgic feeling and message that comes with the painting.
This is a miniature, more like a pre painting of the actual one which is expected to be way bigger. I am not done with the miniature yet but in real time everything would be worthy of your sights.
