Hello blurtiants! I hope you are having a great week. I pray for peace in Ukraine and Russia. Happy weekend in advance. Today is friday. I wish you a terrific day as I share my post with you. My dear members of @blurt I am here again to share my recent realistic graphite pencil portrait of my recent piece I did for my personal collection. I love drawing celebrities that inspire me.
About Her
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is former Minister of Finance for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, appointed in July 2011. She previously served as a Managing Director of the World Bank where she had oversight responsibility for the World Bank's operational portfolio in Africa, South Asia and Europe and Central Asia.
NGOZI was appointed minister of finance by president Goodluck
Ebele Johnathan.
In his regime we had many female in politics. Like Stella Odua the former minister of aviation and other, which I can't mention them all here.
But Ngozi was my favorite, so made a portrait of her just to celebrate her birthday in my Tweeter Handle. I thought to myself it will be nice share it with you here too.
I hope you love. It was done with 100% graphite.

Here are the steps on how I did the portrait.
I drew my grid lines and made my sketch then started shading it gradually. Sometimes I usually start some of my portraits from the hair, but in his case I started with headgear. nothing makes her unique as her headgear. Shes noted for tying her headgear like that. Then I got to the face and started working on the features of the face gradually as usual. This is to helps me work downward and from left to right before moving down to the clothing. I do this to avoid smudging the part I may have already worked on. I really took my time to include everything in detail. Making sure nothing was left out since I want you to really appreciate a good work. And I know myself. I know I'm always committed to excellence regardless of who it may be.
To see how detailed the work is I urge you to open it in another tap so you can appreciate it.
I really love how her lenses distort her eyes inside the glasses.
Definition of details on her headgear and clothing makes me love the portrait more.
It's my personal collection so I took my time to painstakingly follow every detail. it's hanging in my room right now.
