A dragon I call Veneryx digital drawing // Un dragón al que llamo dibujo digital de Veneryx ...

It's been quite a while since I have drawn dragons. Back when drawing with pencils on paper I would draw them quite a lot especially bakugan monsters and so on. Recently heard about DotA and the council of dragons cought my eye with the unique designs they had, so I decided to draw a dragon with no affiliation to
any reference to DotA. I mostly don't lack the imagination to compose things from my head. However it doesn't mean people can't imagine similar things given as from my knowledge of dragons so far I can broadlly say I classify them into two. Chinese type dragons as I call it who don't necessarily have wings and are more like flying snakes. And the should I say fokelore dragons that have wings with variations to structure.. In this drawing is that of a basic non Chinese dragon. When it comes to DotA I would say my favourite dragon so far would be the fire red dragon.

For this dragon of mine🤗, I call him Veneryx an indigo fire breathing dragon with some unique magical horns. One thing though is not everyone likes dragons because just as to some it's a symbol of something good, to others it's just a symbol of the devil. I wonder what symbol it is to the reader. To me it's nothing more than what I make of it.

Cuando se trata de DotA, diría que mi dragón favorito hasta ahora sería el dragón rojo fuego ...
Para este dragón mío, lo llamo Veneryx un dragón de respiración de fuego índigo con algunos cuernos mágicos únicos ... Una cosa, sin embargo, no a todo el mundo le gustan los dragones porque, en cuanto a algunos, es un símbolo de algo bueno, para otros es solo un símbolo del diablo ... As seen above started with a colored outline to bring out the form and mainly used two colors to serve as masks so as differentiate work that will be done on the wings and the body.
The dragon type chosen was a standard non Chinese dragon. Mostly I dublicate and add more details so that if I mess up and get lost lol, I can always go back. Well that's not the main reason. Just Incase I have another idea, I can try it out at those stages. The belly was done with segmented markings and gave it green eyes. The horns can glow but for the moment I didn't draw them being used. Figured I may try another drawing with him displaying them or just dump it in the dust been and start another drawing. Mostly it's because I get thrown off with other stuffs and don't end up continuing a certain series.

Como se ve anteriormente comenzó con un esquema de color para sacar el formulario y principalmente usó dos colores para servir como máscaras para diferenciar el trabajo que se hará en las alas y el cuerpo ...
El tipo dragón elegido era un dragón no chino estándar ... Sobre todo doblé y agrego más detalles para que si me equivoco y me pierdo jajaja, siempre pueda regresar ... Bueno, esa no es la razón principal ... En caso de que tenga otra idea, puedo probarlo en esas etapas ... El vientre se hizo con marcas segmentadas y le dio ojos verdes ... Los cuernos pueden brillar pero por el momento no los dibujé siendo utilizados ... Pensé que podía probar otro dibujo con él mostrándolos o simplemente tirarlo en el polvo y comenzar otro dibujo ... Sobre todo es porque me echan con otras cosas y no termino continuando con una serie determinada ...

I mostly used artistic brushes in sketch book for most of the work. And glow pens for the markings on the hear and horns while also setting the layer with the markings on glow bending mode.
For the light reflections effect, I mostly use air blow pens with color on white and layer blending to screen. That gives it a perfect lighting touch as it follows the color of the drawing. And the background was done with a pastel tool.

Principalmente usé cepillos artísticos en el cuaderno de bocetos para la mayor parte del trabajo ... Y brillar bolígrafos para las marcas en el oído y los cuernos mientras también establece la capa con las marcas en modo de doblado brillante ...

Veneryx is a proud dragon the has a sense of superiority complex and earned himself the title of dragon Lord and protector of the Musarum people. They worship him like a god that protects and take offerings to his mountain. The have a day they celebrate his years of protection from both physical forces and astral forces. It's called the Venrix day. Delicious foods are being prepared and musical and dances and dramas to show his great exploits. And also the only day aside from a battle that they get to see him in their presence as he honors them by making an appearance and does a little fire works though not for a long period. As much he protects them and is proud, he doesn't like to be taken as a god so he keeps his contact with them as little as possible and most times just disappears to his secret resting place or goes to the land of the dragons which is not easily accessible so as to prevent dragons domination. Veneryx greatest foe would be the Hydra of the night. A snake like creature whose body can stretch out new snake parts like tentacles and aside from obviously have a poisonous venom it can turn invisible. It was Veneryx greatest foe as it wasn't a battle of power with it but tricks. Veneryx indigo flames are not as destructive or burning force of a normal fire🔥 they are weaker in force compared to most fire breathing dragons but they do have an additional effect to make up for that which is they can burn in the astral plane as well. Therefore if you can't counter fire to fire with him blocking is not an option only to dodge because it hits the astral body and pain will heavily be felt. So when the physical flames hit a living being they feel both internal pain and external. Which is why astral spirits and beings are cautious of him as he can affect them.
It sounds like a great ability but still keeps him evenly matched with most fire dragons as be lacks firepower so may be over powered when flames clash and get hit but when he is able to land a hit. It will leave them flustered and added advantage to strike again.
