This is exactly how the creative process happens in living people: 90% of the assimilated "base" + 10% of their own rethinking. And this is in the best case, in the most innovative creative personalities. Most "creators" do not make any personal contribution at all, therefore, for example, 99% of writers are forgotten immediately after death. I think that this percentage is even higher for musicians. And there is nothing sad about this, it is the norm.

People who jealously guard the "purity of creativity" simply do not understand what we are talking about, they themselves have never composed or created anything. Therefore, they pretend to be some kind of crusaders, it seems to them that their life acquires more meaning such way. God be with them, as long as they do not burn anyone at the stake, all this can be tolerated 🙂
