Dreams

Touché
Towers of dreams built on our dreams
For donkey years same story told
Same old same old yesterday
Blending with tomorrow that never comes
Soaked in endangerment of beautiful fallacies
Silver linings we fervently desire

Flustered
Like wind from North East West South
Meeting in the middle,
Forming a huge whirlpool and,
Making this voyage of ours distant
This whirlpool which was once part of us
Sharing the same components
Now on another level of depth

Clenching teeth to satiate our hunger
Melody of death rhyming through days
Malevolent hands of death romancing our nights
Picking us one after another
Like the old woman pick her grains
Hurricane swallows the storm like the storm did gale

Santified
Our dreams burn to ashes
But not our benevolent hearts
Not our souls as strong as a rock
We shall continue to dream
Even when our hearts falter
Our broken bones disagree
Because we are the dream
