United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities announced that they will remove a travel ban on destinations of 12 African countries for citizens of countries receiving the full COVID-19 vaccine, WAM News Agency reported on Friday.
Those countries are Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe. Citizens of complete vaccine recipients who have received the booster vaccine are allowed to travel from February 6.
The move also allows people who cannot be vaccinated on health grounds and "humanitarian cases" to travel, according to WAM.
