Greetings to this great community, welcome to my blog, I'm very excited to be part of this wonderful contest, though this is my very first post in this community, being able to participating in this wonderful contest is a great opportunity for me.
Introduction
I'm by name Adebayo Sefiu, I'm from Oyo state in Nigeria. I grew up in the ancient city of Saki where I schooled. Currently an a 400level student majoring in Pure and Applied Chemistry in Modibbo Adama University in Adamawa state Nigeria.
How was your 2021?
The simple understanding of this topic will bring us to relate how we actually spent the year to which I would love to bring to you the summary of my event for each month.
January
My January wasn't that eventful because we have being at home because of ASUU strike for quite a while and without the hope of it being call off, I just live the days as they come by, untill the breakthrough news came in on 18th. Finally the strike have being called off.
February
I started the month with the bustling and hustling in preparation for the school resumption. On 12th I left home and travelled back to days, actually the journey takes almost 30 hours drive.
March
This month runs out as fast as it comes in with so much school work to attend to, I barely have time for other activities.
April
This particular months is not that different from the previous one because we started our first semester exam and I got busy as usual, am the type that takes exam seriously. On the 29th of this month we started Ramadan fasting although the school resume a week earlier because the use a continuous semester in my school
May
I started this month with the fasting at it's peak and school work getting piled up but on 12th on this month the celebrated the Id El fitr. After which we focus more on the school work.
June
The month is filled with school activities and there is no much time for other activities and moreover most social activities were banned in my school to compile with the coronavirus guidelines.
July
This month turns out to ba another exam month because we had our second semester exam which lasted till 14th of the same month. I had my trip back home 17th and we celebrated I'd El Kabir on 20th.
August
So far I can say that this month is the only one in which i got to rest and engaged in social activities and relaxed because I spent the break at home and I enjoyed every but if it.
September
We resume back to school for the first semester and the bustling and hustling continues. It was fun and demanding to some extent because I was actively involved in my duties as The President of the SCSN.
October
The Trip to Nasarawa.
Although the semester is at a full run. I made a choice to take a trip down to Nasarawa state for an entrepreneur training in Agro-business where I was able to bagged a certificate and experience a whole lots of events and training. The month was quite eventful.
November
After my training I had to run back to the open arms of my academic to prepare for my first semester exam. I had my usual exam month and got business. I finished my tenure as the president of the student association to which I was awarded a certificate and an award nominations.
December
I finished my first semester exam on 7th of this month had a Field Trip to Oshaka cement factory in Gombe state Nigeria with my colleagues which was very eventful and on 16th I travelled back home to kick start the festive season.[2347030999231_status_44aeb92a696d4be6980c6ac1d65734de.jpg]!()
Achievement of my 2021 year.
In 2021 academically am very impressed with my performance not only was I able to finish three semester, I was able to finish it well maintaining a first class honor class of degree within limited timeframe.
In 2021 I was able to exhibit my leadership prowess when I became the president of the Student Chemical Society of Nigeria. MAU chapter. A post I held till 16th of November.
In 2021 not only did I engaged in losts of online business activities and training I still acquired a certificate from International skills acquisition Center Gora in Agro-business.
Though the financial breakthrough wasn't there but I was equipped with enough experience to forge ahead in life.
