Hello everyone, good evening to you all. Hope you all had an amazing day today? It's been a while since I last posted on this wonderful platform, but I'm back for good. Sunday is one day of the week I always look forward to. Aside from being a special day for my maker, it is also a special day of rest for me. On this particular day, my family members usually sit together, eat and chat together. Sunday's is usually a great day of bonding in my family.

After Sunday Mass

On this very Sunday, I went for 6.00am Mass with my sister Mmesoma. The mass was celebrated by our Parish Priest, Rev father Vincent Ogbatue. The first reading was taken from the book of Wisdom, second reading from First Thessalonians and the Gospel from the book of of Mark. The reading was about the parable of the ten virgins. Five were wise and the other five foolish.

The wise virgins came with extra oil while the foolish ones came with only their lanterns. On getting to the venue of the wedding, they discovered that the bridegroom has not yet come for the wedding. They waited a while before the bridegroom came and by that time, the foolish virgins has exhausted their oil and they went to look for oil. When they came back, they discovered that the bridegroom has closed the entrance door.

The Priest talked on having extra oil in our dealings in life. The extra oil he was referring to was wisdom. He also talked on applying wisdom in all our dealings in life. After the mass, the bazaar committee came and talked on the upcoming bazaar and the order of program. The mass was dismissed around 8.10am and we went home. On getting home, I prepared rice and stew and we ate, after which I rested.
