Greetings Everyone.
Few weeks back I left home to school in order to get my papers and avoid loosing it, I have gotten them and i headed back home almost immediately as I was running low on foodstuffs.
my papers.
I woke up early so I can meet up with the first bus, I woke up at exactly 3:16AM I swept the room and made sure I kept the bed standing (vertical) as no one knows when ASUU and federal government will settle their differences and call off the strike. I did the dishes and made sure I turned off the tap to avoid water flooding the room later on. I took my bath and prepared a cup tea for breakfast.
I already talked to a cyclist who agreed to come pick me up at 4:30AM, at 4:30AM I was already done and waiting for the Cyclist who delayed by 15 minutes, at exactly 5:10AM we arrived the bus station where I paid for my ticket, fortunately for me I was the one passenger they were waiting for so they can start the journey. I joined other passengers on the bus and at 5:28AM we were en route to Abakiliki. The military checkpoints on the way caused a lot of delay as all the passengers step and walk pass the checkpoint on foot. Thanks to God for a smooth journey, we arrived Abakiliki at exactly 8:58AM.
a picture of me at Abakiliki.
My journey does not end at Abakiliki, I headed to another motor park where I would board a bus to my final destination which is ikom in Cross River State. I arrived the park at exactly 9:22AM, I secured my seat and paif for my ticket, two more passengers were needed to fill the bus, luckily for us two love birds stepped in and the bus was set to move, we were en route to ikom at exactly 10:23AM.
Two love birds at the end of the seat.
No age mate of mine was sitting close to me, no one to talk with so I just faced my phone, since we were out of the Eastern part of the country, the military checkpoints to delay travels by searching reduced drastically. The journey was a smooth one and I arrived home at exactly 2:37PM, I took a bath and was served food to eat. At 4:23PM I left for the football pitch.
Thanks for reading my post.
