I have not been able to be very active as of late and have got hopelessly behind in curation again. This is due to some very horrible internet from MTN. The worst part is that some websites work and mainly those that are useful to me do not work most of the time. I usually have a little window in the morning when everything works fine before the internet goes to shit. This has been going on for almost a week now. This makes it impossible to vote, comment and post. I can still browse some of the blurt front ends like blurt.live and blurtlatam but blurt.blog and blurt wallet do not work while this is going on.
This morning I was able to curate a few posts from 6 days ago. I hope that I can catch up at some point soon.
Don't worry I have not gone or stopped my curation. I have in-fact been buying more blurt during this dip. I have not decided if I will power it up just yet though as I try to keep 10% of my blurt liquid for investment, and trading along with providing to liquidity pools.

Possibly using a voting bot would help while you solve the internet problem. It may be a solution right now.
I think that manual curation is very important to the ecosystem. I will not resort to using a vote bot.
Exactly.
I never understood those who followed curation trails with a bot. For myself one of THE largest rewards in this system is being able to personally choose who to curate. An old saying is reward/fund what one wishes to see more of, and not only does one have the ability to directly reward from inflation those one would help, but one also has an indirect hand in choosing the direction of the platform by demonstrating to others the types of creation that gets rewarded here.
I guarantee your absence was felt far and wide here. Other than Mr. Cornell you probably run the most wide reaching curation project here. Best of luck in playing catch up. I've had to a few times and just trying to for a lost day is hard enough.
Thanks for stopping in with your positive affirmations even as life take you further from blurt. Yes we do have power in our vote and what we choose to reward. That is why I also understand why some people find it so hard to see shit posts rewarded and also toxic negative posts. It is all part of the journey of the platform. And I hope when you do have time to check into blurt you are not getting too pulled into those things as I find myself often doing. There is a reason why we do keep coming back and I don't think it is the drama.
It is reassuring that my contribution can be seen and appreciated also from someone who does not need or often does not benefit from it.
Oh and the good news it seem the internet is cooperating more lately.
It was just a suggestion if the internet problem persisted. Also, I imagine knowing people by the content they post, you could use a bot wisely.
There is no doubt that manual curation is the best weapon against hollow posts that lead nowhere.
No offence taken perhaps I just done know enough about how to use a bot. But why run when walking gets me to where I need to be also and I see more along the way.
You are right about that. The important thing is to get where you want to be and enjoy the journey.
I imagine that for these types of people, it is just business, regardless of the quality of what is being published. However, they will always decide who to vote for or what kind of content.

The Internet can be dissapointing sometimes and interfere with works. I hope you catch up with your curations goals soon👍👏😇
And frustrating I know my wife wants to kill me sometimes when I am swearing at the internet, but what can we do.
Elon may be an ass in a lot of ways but if he ends up providing good internet that I can hopefully afford maybe he fills his role too. We are waiting another year delay to see what happens.
