Internations beach day

A few years ago one of my friends organized an event for the Internations networking group. I helped as he was my friend and I also had another friend with the surf shop at the beach.

He is currently doing a fundraiser to raise money to teach local kids how to surf too. His surf shop is on an Accra beach called Coco Beach. As it is in Accra it is not the cleanest beach but it is still better than a lot of them and very convenient for people living in the city.

There were a few people who showed up from internations and took part in some surfing lessons and the bbq. It was a fun day over all for locals around and others that came to the beach and tried surfing for the first time.

The boys finally got in the water and caught some waves. I did not catch any standing on the camera but I think a few of them rode a few waves. Not bad for a first day.

People watching is always good at the beach you get all types, working, joking and just having fun.

When at the beach and holding a camera there is a always a good chance to make some new friends and shoot some portraits. Back when I was single this was a good way to get a number to send them their pictures too. Just a note for all the single guys out there.
