Greetings blurters.
Yesterday we were fortunate enough to see one great match between Man City and Arsenal. This match wasn’t what most people expected to see since Manchester City hadn’t been beaten in over 10 matches. In fact, they won all their recent epl matches.
But this particular game had some surprises for us all. We saw a pretty good run from City at the very start and knew we were in for a good game. But Arsenal also had plans of their own.
As Man City played their usual possessive game, Arsenal planed on utilizing their pace on the counter attacks which worked spectacularly.
You see players like Martinelli and Saka constantly working the flanks to get some good balls in.
That persistence was what opened up the first goal opportunity which was converted by Saka in the bottom right hand side. That was quite the motivation that Arsenal was going to win it.
But what most people seemed to have forgotten is that with this Manchester City side, a single opportunity is enough.
The second half resumed and they went at it again. You could see that Arsenal still dominated for quite a bit up until they gave away a penalty, caused by Xhaka. The penalty was then converted by Riyad Mahrez.
City was back in the game and had a lot of hope to finish it off. The advantage became quite obvious after Arsenal received a red card from the foul play by Gabriel Magalhaes.

I knew there and then that Arsenal’s hope of winning the game had been shattered looking at how they were demoralized.
One key player who held down the Gunner’s midfield was Thomas Partey. He made some fantastic interceptions and ball recoveries which was a key part of the first half successes.
Arsenal needs to keep this momentum going. I hope this match was all the motivation they needed. If you could play like this against perhaps the best team in the world now, then there is still hope.
Thank you for your attention.
