BEST REGARDS WONDERFUL BLURTIANS
I must say it has been an interesting topic to write on.
I will therefore say this question is very important and paramount to talk about for there might seem to be some confusion in the two main focused words. Therefore it is in this regard am therefore making this post to be a part of this wonderful topic of discussion.
With all focus centered on the topic:
"DO WE NEED A GURU OR TEACHER IN ORDER TO GROW SPIRITUALLY?"`**
I will like to keep this brief and direct to point.
First of all, I will like to take out the meaning of the Word Guru: which I have gotten to know that it means a person who has in-depth knowledge on an area or subject.
On other hand, the word a Teacher, I will say a teacher is a role model, a teacher is a person who instructs, a teacher is simply a person who impacts acquired knowledge into others
If I am being asked this question, I will boldly say I will go to a teacher in order to be a tutor to grow spiritually.
These are my reasons for saying I did go to a teacher.
permit me to say this one very good qualities of a teacher, is the ability to master his/her subject, alongside, a teacher is somebody who has been more in contact with a larger number of persons who have been able to know one or two ways of working with different persons he comes in contact with.
For me relying on a teacher to help me grow spiritually would be a mistake, for teachers and hence very dedicated and more so committed to their duties and will see to it that their aim and objectives are achieved.
A teacher has all it takes, the experiences, the virtues, the attributes, the character, and the charisma for a student to imitate. Most times this teacher doesn't have to tell this person anything but, deep down the child might admire the way the teacher does her things, behaves, if loving God is one thing the teacher doesn't joke with you will notice that the child will therefore try to emulate such behavior and way of life.
I will say a teacher is needed in other to foster the growth of an individual spiritually. Once an individual is determined to grow spiritually, all that is therefore needed is a teacher to guide such persons to achieving their expected goal.
Is on the other hand know that the teacher is always available, the teacher is always there, always disposed and committed to their duties not letting anything come between that.
In a nutshell, I will say growing spiritually depends on the individual's mindset therefore, a teacher will simply serve as a guide to help such person achieve his/her aim.
