Introduction
In my trying times and sheer depression music has always been there for me. When I am in a good mood I play music, when I'm in a bad mood I play music when I feel indifferent I play music. I feel music is underrated by many people and there are alot of musicians who have good music but are not heard by the right people. I am here today to bring you an inside scoop on good artists which I follow up. I'm the kind of person who listens to almost every kind of music there is, be it reggae, gospel, hip hop, highlife, country music, afrobeats, rap, trap just to mention a few. I believe in the expression Music is Life and I believe it's what keeps alot teens going in the present. In this post I will be looking at an Earthgang.
They are an awesome hip hop music duo from atlanta, georgia in the united states'. Johnny Venus (stage name: Olu) and Doctor Dot (Stage name : WowGrt8) who are the two master minds in this duo are very talented and sing quality music. They are the co-founders of the spillage village group. They are currently a part of the Dreamville, a label put together by J Cole. They have been in the music industry since 2008 and release their first EP (Extended Playlist) in 2010.
"When we create, our goal is to set the listener in a mood for each track... the style is all a part of the execution. You'll hear who we are, where we're from, and what sounds we like through our music. We pay attention to details. Source
This they stated in 2011. They combined various related genres of music to give listeners a great listening experience. They have several albums, mixtapes and albums like "Strays with rabies", "mirrorland", "spilligion", "The better party", "Goodnews" just to mention a few.
I recently started listening to them and I decided to share with my blurt family. I have a couple of their songs and music videos on my phone so I will be dropping some recommendations.
From the Robots EP, I would recommend robots. That song is seriously fire.
From the mirrorland album, I would recommend proud of u, top down, swivel.
From the Rags EP, I would recommend meditate and legendari.
From the Spilligion Album, I would recommend Baptize.
From the Royalty EP, I would recommend cocktail and nothin but the best.
From the Shallow graves for toys albums, I would recommend Exactly and No peace.
From the strays with rabies album, I would recommend Simba, A.W.O.L, Momma told me
For the torba EP, I haven't heard any song from it but there are 7 songs and each song is named for each day of the week from Monday - Sunday, ain't that awesome. Now I'm not saying you should limit your listening. These are just the ones I have heard so you can give the whole album a listen. You might just like them more than I do.
